PUROLATOR TACKLE HUNGER WEEK
Submitted By Colleen Buchanan on Sunday, May 28, 2017
on Saturday, June 3rd, in conjunction with the Ontario Football Alliance and Purolator, the Oshawa Hawkeyes will be participating in the Purolator Tackle Hunger campaign.

We ask that all players and spectators bring at least 1 non-perishable food item to be donated at the gate.  These donations will be picked up by Purolator and delivered to Simcoe Hall Settlement House on our behalf.

Cash donations will also be accepted which will be used to purchase some additional most needed items for the food bank which include:

granola bars
large drinks
peanut butter/jam
small fruit cups
canned meat
rice
Donations will also be accepted the week of June 5-9 at Atom and Peewee games and practices (please confirm with your house league GM best date(s) for drop off).

BUT IT DOESN'T END THERE!!! During the week of June 5-9th, Purolator will donate 1 lb. of food to food banks across Canada for every:

New Like of their Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/PurolatorInc

Like/Share of  their Tackle Hunger related posts from June 5-9 https://www.facebook.com/PurolatorInc

Tweet using the hashtag #TackleHunger

Please be sure to like, share and tweet often between the 5th and 9th.  An incredible 1,660,337 lbs of food was donated in 2016, together, we can take that number even higher!
